About the Author

Jean Stanberry has been addicted to literature and writing as long as she can remember. As a child she had short stories and poems published in several children's magazines but as an adult, her parents discouraged her desire to write.

A stay in Scotland cemented her desire to write and Jean continued to crank out her stories in University of St. Andrews quarterly magazine.

When Jean returned to the states she got her Bachelors in Business and later she returned to school getting her Bachelors degree in Nursing from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri.

Jean now lives in the Rocky mountains of northwest Montana, with her husband of more than twenty three years and their two children Ryan and Lauren. They have a Golden Retriever named Molly and an Australian Shepherd named Hailey. Jean works full time as a surgical nurse and she enjoys figure skating, hiking, kayaking, cross country skiing, gardening and gourmet cooking.
