Emily is torn between her chef and her producer. She loves being submissive to Harry, her producer, but she also wants to dominate Etienne, her chef. When they have the opportunity to film in France she discovers what she prefers but it takes Harry and Etienne being kidnapped before she can admit what she wants. I liked this story. I liked that Emily was the rescuer instead of being a damsel in distress. I liked her plan and her bravado. She is no shrinking violet. She is out in front as the action and adventure take center stage. I also liked that Emily is shown as both dominate and submissive. I liked that she could admit she has both sides and become comfortable with each side. I enjoyed Harry, Etienne, and Emily together. They were hot! Watching the dynamics between them was interesting as I saw the give and take between the three of them. This can be read as a standalone but I do want to read the first book with these three so I can see how they came to be a three.

One sexy French chef. One kinky American TV producer. One ambitious Chinese gal who thinks she wants them both. The ingredients of bliss? Or a recipe for disaster? Accomplished cook Mei Lee ‘Emily’ Wong knows exactly what she wants—her own show on the Tastes of France food channel. But life is full of complications. First, her deceptively nerdy producer, Harry Sanborne, initiates Emily into the delights of submission. Then her boss, legendary chef Etienne Duvalier, begs her to dominate him. Emily just can’t resist—especially when Harry orders her to explore her inner Mistress. Suave and sexy Etienne will do whatever she asks—in the bedroom if not in the kitchen. And Harry, her lovingly diabolical Dom, adores pushing Emily’s limits. When the network sends the trio to France to shoot a series of cooking shows on location, Emily knows her career is on the upswing. Her plans fall apart in Marseille as a Hong Kong drug syndicate kidnaps both Etienne and Harry. The Iron Hammer Triad mistakes Etienne for notorious gangster Jean Le Requin, who has stolen their drug shipment, worth millions. Emily realizes she must find the real Le Requin, retrieve the purloined dope, and bargain it for Harry’s and Etienne’s lives. The secret she’s been keeping from Harry might prove useful. Still, what chance does one woman whose knife skills are limited to chopping vegetables, have against the ruthless cruelty of two criminal organisations? Review: ***Review may have spoilers*** This story surprised me and in a good way. At first the story seems to be all the sex and don't get me wrong there is some fine sexiness going on in these pages!  Then you get through roughly the first third of the book and Wow! there is a lot of action and intrigue going on. This is a first time Author for me and I quite enjoyed these characters that she brought to life.  There is a short story that happens before this book, but I did not feel that I was left in the dark by not reading it.  Though I think it would be good to go back and read about Mei's and Harry's beginnings.  The idea of having a story built around a cooking show, I thought was great and I really liked how it enhanced the story.  It is very timely with all the great food shows on nowadays.  The kidnapping and the eventual saving of Harry and Etienne was great and really made the story for me. I loved Mei Lee, thought she was an intelligent, tough and caring. I am not all into women Domme's but I thought it was done well and made sense to the story.  Loved Harry and was so glad that it ended up just being Harry and Mei Lee.  Not that I did not like Etienne, but you could just tell that it is truly Harry and Mei Lee who belong together. Very enjoyable story and will definitely read more from this Author! 3.5Stars

This is my first book by Lisabet Sarai but decided it was an interesting story. The story begins a liitle slow but quickly builds. Emily turns out to be a feisty heroine even when she was being dominated by Harry. When Emily’s Domme nature is exposed she becomes conflicted and unsure of herself. This to me was completely out of character, but the author managed to pull it off. Even so Harry and Emily decide to bring Etienne into their relationship. Of course, Harry ordered Emily to dominate Etienne. I loved how both Harry and Emily reacted to Emily topping Etienne. The author described it beautifully. As they begin to explore their relationship Harry and Etienne are mistakenly kidnapped and it’s up to Emily to get them back. Emily suddenly becomes a tiger in her effort to retrieve her lovers. The things she had to go through to get her lovers back was amazing and well thought out by the author. With the surprising help of Etienne’s cousin and Toni she gets her lovers back. It becomes clear to her that she is deeply in love with Harry, so she gladly lets Etienne go when he decides to marry Toni. I loved how the story is played out. I also love watching cooking shows so it was interesting to see it played out in a book. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves mystery, intrigue, BDSM and most importantly a Domme switch.
