The Inner Traveller’s Guidebook is a collection of ideas, methods and teachings that enable the individual to take a journey within and discover more about their own identity and purpose. The approaches are taken from many disciplines, including psychology, philosophy and religion, and the writings of ancient and modern authors. Each chapter forms a step in an exploration of who you are and what you may become. There are over 80 exercises and practices which allow the traveller to experience his or her inner world. The contents follow a logical sequence: first to understand the personality, then to identify the ego and finally to explore the possibility of an inner self, an inner intelligence that may be at the core of your being. The format is laid out like a traveller’s handbook, with journey preparations and itinerary, information about where and how to explore, and a summary journal.
