Having read and enjoyed 2 of Carl Brookins novels before I knew I wanted to read this one. It is a totally different style from those two, The Case of the Yellow Diamond and The Purloined Painting. This is an adventure, mystery thriller with multiple twists and turns-one you won't want to put down! I know I couldn't and didn't-I read it in one sitting. It does start a bit slowly but watch out--it picks up speed very quickly!! I definitely recommend this book!! Now i want to read the other 2 books in this series.
