This is the first novel I read from Anthony R. Howard and after its reading I was not at all surprised to learn that behind this man is long-lasting career of technology consultant - his work full packed with gadgets and high-tech devices described in great detail. Besides that, Howard manages to create an excellent atmosphere full of sudden twists and turns which doesn't let reader to stop reading until the last of its 230 pages. [5 STARS]

The author does a masterful job in setting the plot for this terrific spy novel. As I began to read the book, I could not put it down. I normally read very casually, but I read this book in a couple of days! It was extremely riveting. The locations in DC and the surrounding suburbs (Columbia, MD) were real streets that I have actually driven on. The background on the Russian and American agents was marvelously written. How they had infiltrated America and blended in, was a little scary. I could barely wait for the sequel, that was just as captivating. Whether or not you like spy novels, this book is a must read.
