Anna goes to camp without her best friend and comes into her own with the help of a demanding older boy and a strange newcomer to mixes up the dynamic of the cabin; great look at cliques and being independent and what kind of a friend you would want to be; good for novel study groups 7-8

I didn't really like this book. I thought it would be way more descriptive about camp and stuff, but it just tells about Anna's problems. It was also kind of boring, while I was reading it I found myself thinking about other things
