The Ishmael Complex: When Faith, Fear, Love, and Ego Collide
The Ishmael Complex is a compilation of ideologies behind the reaped harvest of the fruit of choices, the fruit of pride, and the fruit of faith. Birthed out of the author's study of Genesis 16, this book helps the reader to see the varying sides of choices and the impacts therein. Understanding the how and why in the conception of Ishmael is as important as understanding the who and how of what the author calls "The Ishmael Complex." That complex is predicated on decisions that have inflated our egos, damaged our lives, planted fear in our hearts, and created chaos in the community of faith. Life is complicated and often our bad choices further complicate matters.
