Two teenagers, HiRo Three and his younger female friend SoSi Seven, live in a time somewhen in the future and in a peaceful but indolent society. Their home is agriculturally simple but with mysterious traces of an apparently more advanced time.
HiRo is intrigued by a strange green light in the nearby mountains, which has always been there but about which nobody is willing to talk. He is frustrated by this and decides to find out for himself. So he sets out, taking a protesting SoSi with him.
After an exhausting journey they discover what would become known as the Jade Ice, a mountain valley filled with a pulsating green energy. This engulfs them and they experience being battered, bruised and strangely changed. And find themselves suspended in space, among the stars.
It is the beginning of a tremendous journey; exhilarating, terrifying, and ending up at the Centre of All Things.
This is the tale of their unbelievable adventure.
