The Juicing Diet by Sonoma Press I've read numerous books on juicing over the years, being a long time juicer myself.  This  book is easily one of the best.  Good writing, good research, and creative and healthy  recipes are what you get in this book.  Whether you're looking to get started, or you've  been juicing for years, there's something in this book for you.

The book explains everything from the basics on how to get started, what to buy, the benefits of juicing and also includes nearly 200 juicing recipes.

The Juicing Diet is the ultimate guidebook to lose weight in a healthy way. It includes more than hundred juicing recipes. I really learned from this book that vegetables help greatly to our body system. The thing which amazed me greatly is that even herbs and spices can help me to lose weight. I have tried many recipes from this book that not only helped me to minimize my calories but also boosted my immune system. I must say everyone should add at least few juices from this book to their weekly routine for healthy life style.

Even though my vegetable intake this year has increased in comparison to previous years, I cannot claim to be a big fan of fruits and vegetables. However, “The Juicing Diet” offers brilliant recipes using Supplements, Herbs, and Spices for juicing (chapter Five). Apparently Chia seeds, the exact same seeds that are used to "grow hair" on the popular Chia pet, are some sort of “superfood” with health and medicinal benefits. After reading this book, I have a couple of ideas that I would like to test.

It even coaches us about 30-day juicing weightless plan to boost metabolism and get the most out of the program! I am sure get my juicer and start my diet today! The great thing about this juicing book is that it provides a huge amount of juice recipes for healthy digestion (also pointing out which juices work best for fighting disease, skin and beauty, heart healthy, detoxifying, and energy boosting), which is why I was thinking about juicing in the first place. This book explains all the health benefits of juicing in an easy to follow and informative way, while providing information on how to make juicing a way of life, as opposed to another fad diet that’s too hard to stick to.

From the tools themselves to the produce you will be drinking down, every benefit motivated me more to commit to a personalized juicing fast.  The recipes provided enough variation I could follow which flavors I liked and then learned why I felt so much better after. Juicing has become a new trend but it can be much more than that if done right.  Diet and exercise are of course the traditional route to take when trying to be healthy but I for one am too busy to be an avid exerciser and I love a nice dose  of chocolate. This book is a nice how to for juicing so you can be healthy and save some time!

I love this book, my teenage son is always drinking juice drinks and he loves to juice too. This book is simple and informative. It nice to have such unique recipes and explanations for the ingredients and what they are intended for…just adds another dimension to juicing that is just as enjoyable as the juicing. It gives fantastic reasons to juice and makes it fun and exciting.

Juicing is like finger-painting. There's no real way to mess it up; just mix whatever you love and have fun. But if you're less experimental and like to do things by the book, I recommend buying The Juicing Diet. All the recipes are laid out clearly, it's comprehensive and easy to follow. There are so many recipes it's almost endless. I highly recommend.

This is an excellent resource for people who are interested in increasing their intake of raw fruits and vegetables without sacrificing on taste or convenience. The juicing recipes, which include the use of herbs and spices, are more likely to keep you interested in juicing as part of your dietary way of life.

This book is packed with solid information on juicing, including lots of information on the nutritional and dietary aspects of juicing.  I like that the authors also provided a very balanced appraisal of the pros and cons of juicing in general. If you are an experienced juicer or a just  an interested lurker, you will find this book to be full of great reference material. The Paragraph on selecting juicers alone could save you more than the piece of the book.

Lose weight AND feel great! The Juicing Diet is a wonderfully simple, no-nonsense plan for eating healthy and losing weight. The primary emphasis is on simple, healthy, unprocessed ingredients and on food rationing. This makes sense. Many of us are overweight because we eat the wrong foods and too much of the wrong foods. The best thing, though, about the Juicing Diet is that it also aims at making people healthy.

The full color page layouts are nicer than average, and really takes what could be merely a decently organized reference point, and instead delivers an attractive guidebook for all things juicing. It was a nice moment to finding sections on purchasing a juicer in the book, as well as a guide to using herbs and spices to instill flavor layers - it made it feel complete.

Is juicing healthier than just eating fruit & veggies? Who knows. But the fact that you are consuming more healthy food in an easier/faster way is definitely a draw by itself. I absolutely loved the chart on which fruits/veggies to mix for optimal health. Very thorough! I'm still trying to find the tastiest juice recipe in the book. The Jazzy juice blend was delicious and the cucumber apple kale juice blew my mind its so sweet!

Juicing is a really healthy way to nourish your body -- and to change it for the better! Even when you want to, it’s still tricky to decide how to use juicing for weight loss. I like THE JUICING DIET because it understands that no one can change overnight. Instead, it gives you a series of short-term plans to help you succeed. This book provides lots of yummy juice recipes – 40 green juices, 45 fruit juices, 60 vegetable juices, and 30 savory/spicy juices. But how do you take all those recipes and create a weight loss plan? The book tells you how:  You begin with a 7 day preparation, where each day you let something go-- dairy, caffeine, meat products. Then it's time for a 5 day intro to the juicing life, snacking on juices but still eating healthy foods. Then, if you feel ready, you can start a 15-day all juice, all the time, cleanse.  You drink 5 juices every day—2 snacks and 3 juice meals. Finally, you go back to eating some solid foods, but still enjoy your juice--and hopefully, your new smaller body!

The book ‘The Juicing Diet’ by Sonoma Press includes recipes for juicing. This book is wonderful reading and explains how protecting the immune system can come from juicing. The book describes various juicing machines and is a fabulous book to read.

This was a great organized explanation on how fruits and vegetables can help you stay fit and lose weight. The reason I enjoyed this exert so much is because it was short, simple, and to the point. I did not have to decipher the information only follow directions. I would most defiantly recommend the Juicing Diet to anyone looking for a method that exceeds expectations
