This book is an amazing muckracking book. It basically goes into detail about all the different experiences that immigrants had to go through under a capitalistic regime. I would recommend to anyone who is interested in learning about the begginings of capatilism.

As an instructor who uses The Jungle as an assigned text, this book is useful so I can keep up with what not to ask students on exams or identify specific phrases from the study guide itself. Over all, this is a decent guide and explanation of Sinclair's book.

I had to do an extra credit book report and I bought this and it helped so much. It has all the basic facts you need to know about the book and about Upton Sinclair.

The Jungle is about a Lithuanian family who comes to America hoping their would be a lot of job opportunities and freedom. This book is very good and interesting. If you are interested in reading about new beginnings this book is the one. The author has a very interesting writing style.
