Darias Leone is devastated by the murders of his grandmother, the Queen of Altaleone, and his father, the Heir to the throne. As he and his family deal with their loss, Darius realizes that he needs to find a wife. He must be married to claim the throne. When he sees Emma Ricci at a gallery showing of his art work, he knows that she is the answer to his problems. Emma needs help if she is to save her brother from his drug addiction and Keep him away from unsavory characters. A marriage of convenience is the answer. The fact that these two have powerful chemistry shouldn't be a problem. Can they help each other and then walk away from their attraction? The King's Bought Bride is a romantic tale that combines a passionate couple, battling a deadly enemy and a Secret Society to learn the truth. I loved that Jennifer Lewis used Gibran from her Desert Kings series as the Security Expert. This book appealed to my romantic nature. The memorable characters, the witty banter, the heart stopping romance and the non-stop action kept me reading. The Royal House of Leone series is off to a great start. I can't wait to see what happens next. An added Bonus is the inclusion of A Prince For Christmas. This is a short story where we meet Serena Raines, a lifestyle guru, and Sandro Leone, a playboy Prince. They end up spending Christmas riding out a winter storm in each other's arms. I loved seeing their first meeting. I can't wait to see what happens next. These characters are charming. They are good together. Their romance made me smile in contentment.
