Dr. Burnett has really outdone himself with The Lamb. He has crafted a wonderfully suspenseful and curious storyline with a few zingers. He knows how to develop characters which hold your attention and lead you into their world. THIS IS A MUST READ ! ! JD Weir

A good writer tells a story that will entertain you, a great writer's story will change you. Mr. Burnett tells a complex and ambitious story of a beautiful life that is manipulated by Politics & Religion. The story is set in the uncertain post 9/11 world where today more than ever people are searching for answers and meaning as is our protagonist Joshua Adon. Life generally has very few answers but plenty of lessons, Mr. Burnett has written a story that has changed the way I think about the world. Without hesitation I would humbly recommend the Lamb.

This novel left me wondering if Mr. Burnett could predict the future. His reading of current events in science, religion, and politics presents a picture of our world that is very close to coming true. Josh Adon is a very sympathetic character thrown into a circumstance not of his making, supposedly matching the DNA of Jesus. The rapid decsent of the world onto this Christ figure with the backdrop of war, terrorism and religious-driven political fervor is something that could happen in our times if the right person came along. It's scary to think that we are now moving toward a government that is intertwined with religion to battle the forces of other religions around the world. Burnett takes a step along this path in The Lamb that should leave everyone wondering,'What are we about to do in this nation?'
