We are bountifully blessed, yet these blessings are not consciously realized within us individually, nor within our collective societies and cultures. We have forgotten that we are individuals with divine purpose and a work to perform. Instead our lives are spent chasing Dow Jones Industrial averages, high speed internet service, cosmetic surgeries and complex impression management facades. The Language of Fruit illuminates the heroic journey for the spiritual warrior into conscious love, personal responsibility and authenticity of being. A series of 11 inspirational letters (including the introduction), The Language of Fruit addresses the real and often taboo work we must to perform to live the authentic and conscious lives that we were strive to live. Conversational and direct in its approach, The Language of Fruit moves us past the paradigms of religion and oral traditions of morality that repress our natural and authentic selves and into a conscious freedom of expression that incubates our sense of connection, personal responsibility toward self and others, love, and spiritual authenticity. Using the personal, professional and clinical experiences of the author Greg McNeil, The Language of Fruit takes us into the real world of living and breathing, into the ugly world where dependencies, abuse, manipulations, fear, greed and impression management have become our daily spiritual practices and where genuine authenticity and love represent the 'close encounters of the third kind' or extraterrestrial experiences. The Language of Fruit is not a 'how-to' or 1-2-3 step book, nor does it seek to be objective, but rather it is a book designed to encourage the reader to be brave, courageous and heroic as they attempt to leave the shadows of rationalized unconsciousness and into a life of liberating and conscious authenticity. Simply put, love is authenticity and authenticity is of God. When we find our authenticity on the heroic journey we find God also. Welcome to The Language of Fruit!

I have enjoyed Greg Mcneill's book,it was food for the soul. A soul that has been trying to heal some longtime pain. .He uses metaphors that you can easily identify with. Even though it was not design to be a self-help book, I can see myself reading again and again. Maybe even helping someone else with his inspirational words.
