About the Author
C.C. Jameson is an ex-military officer now wanderlust-driven author. Other than politically unstable countries, those with visa restrictions, or where only the wealthy can live, no place is out of bounds for the single, adventurous writer.
The author currently lives somewhere along the coast of Mexico, where blue skies meet turquoise waters, and cold beers and lime margaritas reign as the best thirst quenchers.
Spending time alone in nature and writing at home are some of C.C.'s favorite activities. Hobbies include listening to live music, learning new languages, reading tons of books, and making up stories for readers to enjoy.
The name C.C. Jameson was born out of two authors' imaginations while chatting at a bar somewhere in Florida. Drinking was involved, of course, because it's one of C.C.'s favorite activities and a must for the introverted author while in social situations. As for the C.C. part, it corresponds to the author's real first initial, but doubled because it sounded better. Plus, that's how many people refer to Canadian Club.
So, C.C. Jameson is not just an anonymous author's pen name, it's a drinking name, too.

The Last Lies by C C Jameson shines a light not only on how skillful a writer C C Jameson IS, but also on a story as well as a focus on female abuse in the work place. Quite a chunk. to tackle as an Author but tackle it this Author DID and in a skillful writing way at that. I thoroughly enjoyed The Last Lies and look forward to other books C C Jameson writes now. Suspenseful. Exciting. Informative. And well developed characters too! AND a well developed plot/story line and sub plot. So all component needed to deliver a well written book are in this one. ENJOY! I highly recommend this book.
Kate is a police officer trying to make detective. She is in a profession that seems to be a good ole boys club. She gets harassed at work. She finds out she is pregnant when taking her birth control pills daily. She is in a bad marriage and finds out her husband is cheating on her. She is working a animal killer case that seems to be spreading. This is a great read. It caught my interest from the beginning.
This is a story about a woman who is a survivor. She has no intention of being a victim and so she pursues her dream. Things don’t go to plan in her personal life and she meets resistance in her professional life. She’s a tough and is used to surviving. This is a great story, well presented, a bit rushed at times but a great read! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
