A Black teenage superhero I really love. What an incredible read I could actually visualize with Zeus telling the story of Allen King, a young Black teenager who starts off being bullied by the popular high school jock until he meets a beautiful Greek Goddess named Athena. She helps Allen discover his origins being The Last Prince of Atlantis. I really love his best friends Jake and Franciso. They were also bullies because they were made fun of being orphans. They retaliate against anyone except for Allen who accepted them for who they are. Together the band of brothers and Athena bask in an epic adventure fighting billionaire enemies of The Last Prince of Atlantis. They want to rule the world. Allen, Athena and Allen's friend can't let that happen. The crystal necklace gives Allen incredible powers of telepathy and teleportation. He even rides a great white shark and dolphins. So cool. The story reads fast with easy banter. With the popularity of superheroes these movies. I hope to see this epic novel on the big screen one day like Harry Potter.
