About the Author

As a child, LaTonya Watkins enjoyed writing poetry and short stories. Writing became a way to vent after her mother passed away from breast cancer. She participated in the school talent show, church events, family reunions, and tried her hand on spoken word by speaking her poems with instrumental music. Eventually, writing became a hobby and her love for the career grew in her heart. She sat down to study and understand the three act structure and the hero's journey before attempting to write her first novella, and now writing a full lengthy novel, including a seven book series 'The Last Seeker.' She is a full time self-published author. She enjoys writing fantasy, which includes dark romance, thrillers, horror, erotica, and any of the genres that allows her to use her wild imagination. In her spare time, she loves to watch television, listening to music, crocheting, shopping, being on social media, and hanging out with her cat, Samara.
She is best known as the cat lady who always has her nose in a book. She is a big fan of romance novels with a dirty dark secret for a twisty plot with men who unfortunately don't exist in reality. That's why fantasy takes the number one spot on her list. No rules, no boundaries, just a wild imagination, patience to build a world and the ability to tear it down with anger.
