Overview

Petra is a middle-aged woman, uncertain of intimate relationships since her husband left a year ago. She satisfies her sexual desires through steamy online chats with strangers. She changes her mind about meeting men after chatting with Paul. She agrees to a rendezvous at a local laundromat. She complies with his texted instructions and leaves her home dressed in a provocative outfit. As her arousal increases she takes a short detour while walking to the odd meeting place. When she arrives at the rendezvous she finds herself in a disturbing situation. Her challenging circumstances compel Petra to push aside her doubts and inhibitions. She develops a new understanding of herself through a process of self exploration. Petra then begins a different way of living with Paul and her other new friends.

The Laundromat is a compelling read! Full of provocative and sexy scenes, it tells of a woman's sexual awakening, whilst also charting how this affects her personal values, philosophy and sexual politics. I read on way past my bedtime!

I thought this a really gripping and exceptionally hot story.Great scenes of really varied hot and sometimes kinky sex. There are some confronting ideas and encounters as the main character explores what she is feeling and working out. The other characters are multidimensional too and the action is pretty much non-stop. Something to thinkabout as well as to enjoy. This is as good as anything else going around at the moment and way better than most.
