Beautiful artwork through out the Bible from many different time periods. Also great photos from the Holy Land area bring an added depth. As if that is not enough, the commentaries in the side margins and the miniarticles are very insightful and informative. The best Bible that I have ever owned it has been/is a great blessing.

Use this Bible as a study Bible, It explains in many side bars what traditions were, the signigance of different imagery throughout the Bible, historical, and visual arts renderings with explanations You can't just whiz through the information nor through the Biblical texts.  Quite often the side bar materials are informative in and of themselves and you have to go back a 2nd and 3rd time to just focus on the Biblical text with all the new information and perspectives you have learned from the sidebar information.
