About the Author

Angela Riteman is a pen name of Anthony Wilbourne.

I've been writing and creating for as long as I can remember.  I'm currently a Bachelor of Writing Studies.  Prior to this, I obtained two Associate of Arts degrees and worked for Microsoft as a Web Publisher.  I also launched 1613 Enterprises during that time.  As a child, I won many awards, such as 1st place in high school, 2nd place in a Spokane Regional Art Show and Editor's Choice from Poetry.com.  I've also always been a kind of altruistic person.  Although it's led me down some dark paths, I'm honored to have experienced the things I had.  They've helped me realize what I really want.  I often try to channel the same attributes into my characters, flawed but courageous people that learn from their mistakes and ultimately become stronger, better individuals.

Growing up, I considered several professions.  As a result, I haven't amounted to much.  As a child, I had an aptitude for fine art and creative writing.  I even once considered getting into the movies.  Nowadays, I'm just an Average Joe trying to make a difference, a change for the better.  I'm honored to have made the mistakes and experienced the hardships I have.  They've helped me realize what I really want.  I often try to channel the same attributes into my characters, flawed but courageous people that learn from their mistakes and ultimately become stronger, better individuals.
