Something strange is happening in Westfield County. People are disappearing, freak electrical surges are causing destruction, and a woman appears at the Halloween concert and swears vengeance on the town.
When their teacher vanishes, leaving behind a mysterious key, Murphy, Chloe, and Jason are thrust into a mystical adventure. Allied with the spritely Cromalites, the kids journey into a world of strange creatures, secret languages, and alien powers to rescue the missing people and—hopefully—save their town from evil. As they learn more, Murphy, Chloe, and Jason discover that they were not chosen for their task at random—they each have an important part to play.
