On Kerbys way home from the park he found an old lady named Mrs. Graymalkin, and he helped her get her shoe unstuck from the drainpipe. The next day, for a reward, she gave him an old chemistry set. He rushed home and hid it in the garage. When his mom went shopping, he snuck it up into his room. He mixed up a potion, drank it, and became nice, even cleaning the garage. He had a great idea to make Bumps, the bully, nice. Kerby would mix some potion with lemonade and give it to Bumps. His idea worked and he was nice for a day. We think this book is great because we like imaginative stories. You should read this book because it was a short but very exciting story.
