I have loved every book in this series, and this was no exception! I loved getting to know Lip and Cherry beyond what you know from the other books.

I have read the whole series and each one has blown me away. The love and loyalty they show for one another as a family MC is amazing! It has kept me on my toes for sure. Shadow and Dani stole my heart but then Cherry and Lip have made me understand that being alone doesn't work when the other half is missing, but together you are stronger than ever and love hurts but it also mends. Thank you once again for keeping me on my toes! I am such a hugh fan of this authors work!

This book had so many twists and turns, it had my head reeling but I loved it. I loved Cherry's story. I 've always wondered about her and her old man, Lip. Not much was ever said about them except that he was doing time and Cherry was loyal to the club which we all witnessed at some point or another and she hated being restricted. So to finally get her story, sad and unfair as it was, it really was good. Despite both Cherry and Lip going into their relationship with one big, huge lie each, I think they complimented each other quite nicely. They kept each other grounded...leveled somehow, which was strange considering they had so little time together before Lip went in to do time on the clubs behalf. Yet with all their lies between them, there was still that pull and attraction, so fierce and determine between them, so again despite both huge lies, they belonged together. I felt it was stupid, not to mention hypocritical of Cherry to be upset with Lip over his lie when she withheld something big from him as well. Lip was a hypocrite for the same exact reasons...lol...so they needed to get over it and work together to get past it. Another sad loss in this book, didn't see it coming and now with Lip's brother/family club coming into the mix, that's just something else they have to deal with... SR

This was another fantastic book this wonderful MC series. I helped promote the first book but missed the opportunity with books 2 and 3. So, when I signed up for this book, I had some catching up to do. I shouldn’t have been worried. I was so absorbed in the whole series that I devoured all the books in just a matter of days. The whole series is full of angst, hot sex, action, and suspense. There’s also some sweetly romantic moments (well in the realm of an outlaw MC Alpha biker). So, by the time I got to this book, it was no surprise that it fell right in line with the rest of the books. I loved how Lip and Cherry met. It’s totally unconventional but totally them. Things are intense when they first get together and then Lip takes the fall for Bull and goes to jail for 6 years. Lip will do anything for his club but 6 years in prison would change any man. Lip is not only loyal, but is a hot as hell pierced biker that likes to break rules and has a temper. Cherry had a crappy childhood with an abusive father and growing up in a trailer park in a horrible part of town. She’s done what she had to to survive. Of course her feistiness, beauty, and that iron will reel Lip in. When they reconnect after Lip gets out, things aren’t the same. These are two very strong people that I feel privileged to get to follow on their journey. M.N. Forgy has an incredible knack for pulling you into the crazy world of the Devil’s Dust MC and making you feel connected to each character. I felt invested in their well-being (as was the case for each book’s characters). The ups and downs, emotions, hot sex scenes, action, and everything in between are put together in the perfect way so that you feel like you’re right there with the characters. This was another awesome story line and I really hope there’s more to come from the world of the Devil’s Dust MC. I have a big fondness for this MC and their Ol’ Ladies. 5 out of 5 stars!!!!!!

4.5 star I was pulled right into this story. This story has laughs, secrets, betrayal, murder, abuse, pain, and heartbreak. If you have not read the below books from this series I would highly recommend that you do: What Doesn't Destroy Us (The Devil's Dust, #1) The Scars That Define Us (The Devil's Dust, #2) The Broken Pieces of Us (The Devil's Dust, #2.1) Love That Defies Us (The Devil's Dust, #2.2) The Fear That Divides Us (The Devil's Dust, #3) This is Cherry and Lip’s story. Cherry’s child was taken from her. After witnessing her baby’s daddy paying off the judge she runs. People are out to kill her so she is living on the streets. She meets Lip after trying to take his wallet. Lip takes Cherry in and makes her his girl. When he is taken to jail she stays with the MC and helps protect the other old ladies. But when Lip is released he is a different person. Cherry has secrets she has been keeping but then so does Lip. When Cherry’s past comes for her will she get the protection of the MC? What happens when the one thing you wanted is the only thing you believe that your man would never want? What happens when everything you have believed for years is all a lie? Can you overcome all the lies and secrets to be together or is it just over? Is there a way to heal a shattered love? Or is it just not worth anymore pain. Would the best thing to happen be that you just left? Is there any future for these two? Or will the past and family be the things that rips them apart even more? I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read. I recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story in this series.
