Finally a book to help make healthly eating a lifestyle and not a crash diet from a trusted nutritionist! Humorously written, LBT is packed with information - including how to avoid derailment in real life situations (restuarants, holidays, etc) and how to best eat (and exercise! and sleep!) your way to thin! A must read!!!

Love. The advice/strategies are so good, but the best part is that it's funny and practical. My favorite is the chapter about snacking--one of my favorite activities--and how to do it right. I also really like the little ideas like having a Food First Aid kit for travel and a nut case for portion control.

Such a great read to start off the new year! Gives you all the tools you need when facing food stress (holidays, dating, sports games) in a practical, relatable way!  I always have food troubles when traveling, but Slayton goes into great detail for keeping a healthy itinerary when traveling! Already working on creating my food first aid kit, thank you thank you for your brilliant, sound advice!

finally!!!! A diet-related book that is NOT A DIET BOOK. I have never been a fan of books that tell you to follow ONE DIET PLAN. It's impractical and not sustainable. You follow the plan and a few weeks later, you're back to where you started (for me at least).  So happy this book is not like other diet books. It's all about strategies that anyone can use when they are watching their weight. Such practical advice, thank you for this!

Practical advice for real life situations such as parties, kids' birthday parties, dates, etc which make weight loss and eating healthy difficult to do. Not a diet book, more of a strategy book. Great illustrations and such a fun and enjoyable read!!!

This is not your average diet/health book with calorie counting and boring rules. The Little Book of Thin is super fun and easy to read with down to earth and practical tips. I especially love the 10 steps to svelte which sets you up with the basics. It uncomplicates all the dieting drama and healthy eating advice out there. Love it!!!
