François SARANO: François Sarano is a professor of oceanography. Former research director of the Deep Ocean Odyssey program and former scientific advisor to legendary French oceanographer, Jacques Cousteau, he has been conducting his own research for more than 13 years. sarano has written dozen of scientific books and produced six documentaries dealing with oceans. Today, he holds conferences around the world to sensitize people to the protection of the ocean and their inhabitants. The Little Girl Who Walked on Water is his first children's book and is illustrated by his daughter, Marion Sarano.
