This is a complex story involving murder, mystery and romance. It is full of emotions and twists and turns that will keep you wondering if Kate will be able to cope with all that is happening to her and her family. I felt that the plot and characters were well developed. Even though this was a murder mystery, I felt relaxed while I was reading it. It is a good story to read while in front of a fireplace with a glass of wine or hot chocolate. I as given this book and I enjoyed reading it.

Kate;s life was quickly becoming a roller coaster ride with the end of the tracks nowhere in sight. her fairy tale existence was quickly becoming grim. It began with the tragic death of her parents in a car accident and escalated when she learned her loving fiance was not familiar with her version of faithfulness. Needing some time to reflect on her own, she sought solitude at Seagrove plantation, the home of her late grandmother in Genoa, Florida. Unfortunately her is where her ride really begins. Kate's family history finally unwraps itself in a tale of lies and deceit that crosses oceans and generations finally leading this young woman to the truth and even more. A must read!
