Overview

This thought-provoking collection not only takes us into the past and the future, but also explores what might happen if we attempt to manipulate time to our own advantage.

These stories show what happen once you start to meddle with time and the paradoxes that might arise. It also raises questions about whether we understand time, and how we perceive it. Once we move outside the present day, can we ever return or do we move into an alternate world? What happens if our meddling with Nature leads to time flowing backwards, or slowing down or stopping all together? Or if we get trapped in a constant loop from which we can never escape. Is the past and future immutable or will we ever be able to escape the inevitable?

These are just some of the questions that are raised in these challenging, exciting and sometimes amusing stories by Kage Baker, Simon Clark, Fritz Leiber, Christopher Priest, Kristine Kathryn Rusch, Robert Silverberg, Michael Swanwick, John Varley and many others.

Dear Readers-
I am currently unaware of how many of you, if any, are reading this revamp of "Seriously Funny," and I am unsure of how to take it.
On one hand, nobody is reading it at all and I need to make it known.
Another possibility is that there are people reading "Seriously Funny" who have decided not to make themselves known to me.
Any possibility could be what's going on, but I kind of need to know how many people are reading this, no matter what they think of it, so that I can improve it or continue it nightly as I have been doing since May 16- give or take a few nights this summer because of camps, missions trips, and family vacations- or just discontinue it.
School ends for me this Friday, so I'll have so much time on my hands until camp starts. Therefore, I will be posting more and more- hopefully, the parts will get longer and more informative as I go- and I will hopefully have a complete story on my hands by the end of the summer.
So, the point is: just make yourself known to me, please. Questions, comments, feedback- positive OR negative- are all welcome. You are key in how this story continues- if it does at all- and I urge you to use your voice in order for me to better this story.
Keep on reading and writing.
You guys rock!
-Kai517
~-~
If you guys want to read parts of the original "Seriously Funny," visit "Littlest Pet Shop" most to all results. If there is anything in those parts that you would like to see me revive here, let me know.
I am already trying to figure out how I can bring the Clark family into the story like I had before, and I'm trying to remember the parts that I had written on books that suddenly disappeared- I remember that I had Russell accused of something, banishing him from the pet shop, but Pepper stood up for him and he was accepted back... but I can't remember under what situations! It is SO FRUSTRATING!- and I am trying my hardest to write the best quality stories that I possibly can...
Again, you are essential to how I can measure "best quality," so feel free to pipe up!
