Overview

Sometimes you can become a slave to other people's expectations of who you should be.

Jenna enjoyed her fling with Asher. It was just what she needed to remember the woman she wants to be. She's on the right path, but only wants a partner who wants the same life she does.

Asher didn't like the way things ended. He's angry with himself for acting like the entitled, aggressive jerk. He wants to see her again, but not for another fling. All this self-reflection has made it clear that he wants more, but he has to open up to her.

Passover is the perfect opportunity for him to show Jenna the man he really is if she'll let him. He has until the annual Matzo Ball party at her synagogue to discover if they belong together.

About the Author

After a mid-life crisis and failing out of college at the age of twenty, Sara Marks decided to live the life she wanted, not the one expected of her. Now a librarian with two master's degrees, she plans to never stop getting over educated. She started writing as part of the National Novel Writing Month program over fifteen years ago. She likes to write women who are like her: feminists who learn to live their life their way; rarely worrying about their age, weight, marriageability, or fertility. They fail and find second, third, and (sometimes) fourth chances to correct their mistakes.

Sara’s a hopeless romantic who is unlucky in love. She cries at nearly every movie she sees (ask her about when she cried at a horror movie), but it’s full-on weeping for Disney animated movies. She loves reading nearly every genre but likes to write women’s fiction, romance, and horror. She believes you have to find a balance with the reality of the world if you’re going to be a hopeless romantic!
