When Jim Stovall, through his business, makes his movies such as The Ultimate Gift accessible both as a premiere theatrical and DVD movie, as well as part of a school curriculum, he improves the lives of young and old alike.- Donald J. "This is the book I wished was available 30 years ago when I was desperate and broke with only a dream of one day being a millionaire. Now, as a multimillionaire, I want to share the wisdom I've gained from the journey and provide other travelers with a map to guide them on their journey." -- Jim StovallThe Millionaire Map Reveals:
- You can't expand your wallet until you expand your mind.
- Becoming a millionaire is not just about all the things you want to have, but it's about the things you want to do and give.
- In order to climb to the financial peak, you've got to crawl out of the valley of debt.
- You will either voluntarily control your money now, or it will force its control on you later.
- The vast majority of people never arrive at their destination-not because they don't have what it takes but because they don't manage what they have.

This was an interesting topic for me. I have always heard my parents say that money is not everything. This book proves it. I never thought about what life would be like for a millionaire, because I only thought about how to get there. This book was about enjoying what you have, being wealthy and loved. Once you can accomplish that then you can share it with others. I really liked this book. I am giving this book a 5/5. I was given a copy to review, however all opinions are my own.

He shares the lessons he has learned. He opens your eyes to the benefits of living on a budget, persistence, gives hope with words of encouragement, and warns of potential roadblocks and setbacks. I just finished reading The Millionaire Map by Jim Stovall. What a wealth of information. This is a book I will need to read multiple times in order to digest all the wisdom packed in between the pages. It’s a great, straightforward book filled with encouragement, hope, and the promise of success to those who are willing to put forth the work in order to make it happen. And, according to Mr. Stovall himself, that title will belong to 3% of the population. Within the first few pages, Mr. Stovall was giving out his phone number in order to help others alongside their own personal millionaire journey. That was impressive. However, the longer I read, the more I admired Mr. Stovall for his genuine willingness to help others and backing up those words with action steps. Approximately seven years ago, on Thanksgiving night, I was first introduced to Mr. Stovall through the movie, The Ultimate Gift. To read a nonfiction book of his where he is willing to share how he created his own millionaire map further cements what I took away from the movie years ago - real riches are found in relationships, not currency. God definitely orchestrated my chance to read this book. November 2013, He had us restructure our finances, budget, etc. in order to start controlling our money instead of allowing it to control us. We are in the very beginning stages of our own millionaire map, but I’m excited to share this book with my husband so we can form the right map for our lives together. Thank you, Mr. Stovall, for writing this book. I will be contacting you shortly as we celebrate the various milestones in our journey and also to ask advice. Thank you for taking your wealth of knowledge and sharing it with others. I, too, plan on sharing what I’ve learned to help others along the way. I received this book for free from the author and Book Club Network for my honest review.
The Millionaire Map By: Jim Stovall I agreed with Jim Stovall about the definition of a millionaire can be different to everyone. T o a lot of people it can mean having all the newest things. Then to others it could be just being comfortable having a happy life with what you got. I think I am that person. The book tells how you can get your dreams. I think the biggest thing is being able to give to those in need. A millionaire lifestyle may not be what you think. It really depends a lot of what we have in life and how we use it. Again what do you want to be rich in? I am glad I read the book found it helpful. In my thoughts I am a millionaire with what I have in life. Read the book see what kind of millionaire you want to be.
“Never accept a map from someone who hasn’t been where you want to go.” “This is the book I wished was available 30 years ago when I was desperate and broke with only a dream of one day being a millionaire. Now, as a multimillionaire, I want to share the wisdom I’ve gained from the journey and provide other travelers with a map to guide them on their journey.” This book read more like a resume of the author’s credentials, achievements and accolades (which are quite impressive) rather than as a guide for other wishing to become millionaires. While there is some sound financial advice about accumulating wealth, in my opinion, there seemed to be little else of substance. Do you REALLY want to be a millionaire? The answer may surprise you. This book isn't asking if you want to live as if you are one, but if you want to be one. You will learn what a big difference there is between the two. Quote from Chapter Two- "Money is a tool that can be used in virtually any way we choose. More than anything else, money represents choices. Money can buy the most useful and beneficial things in the world, or it can purchase frustration and destruction." This was a very well written book, and I found many of the personal stories very interesting. This book can be summed up by stating that one should follow their entrepreneurial spirit through something about which they are passionate, keep your eyes on the goal, and never give up on your dreams...even if you fail several times along the way. A couple of his best tips were," Never take advice from anyone who doesn't have what you want.Just pursue your passion and enjoy the journey. Always remember that you can succeed in becoming a millionaire by earning money through serving others, playing great defense, by regulating your spending and investing in things you know and understand." This book isn't for everyone, but if you want to run your own business, pursue a dream, or have a plan for financial freedom- then this book is definitely for you, even if you don't want to be a millionaire. The author explains that isn't going to be everyone's goal. It isn't mine of which I became sure after reading this book. Thus the three star review. This book, however, might be for you. I received this book through a The Book Club Network for an honest review which I have given.
The Millionaire Map is an explanation from firsthand experience of the nuts and bolts, and the steps, in becoming financially successful, while practicing wise stewardship. Mr. Stovall helps the reader want to focus and persevere, by his sharing of personal stories, along with his words of encouragement about potential roadblocks. As a financial consultant with a background in biblical financial principles, I am familiar with some of the advice (such as children and wealth, and the need for mentors) but found it powerful to see this wisdom in one place in a short, readable form. Note: I was provided with an Advance Reader's Copy of this book.
