I really enjoyed Ophelia and Colin's story! Ophelia has always been the quiet, shy member of her group of friends, but she has always longed for an adventure of her own. When she is offered her own chance at an adventure, she jumps on it. Trying to find the answers about Colin's family history, they set out together. But if they are found to be traveling alone, Ophelia will be ruined. But it will be worth it, if they find love at the end of it! This was a great conclusion to the Undaunted Debutantes series! I throughly enjoyed this series and can't wait to see what McKnight comes up with next!

A nice easy read.

I loved these three books. I had guessed who the murderer was after her introduction. Had some slow and empty space but still enjoyed them.

Ms. McKnight saved the best for last. I have enjoyed the previous two books in this series, but Lady Ophelia is just special. She loves her books, is beautiful and guards her heart carefully. She is determined to solve the mystery of her friend Tilda that we learned about in the first book. Colin is adorable. He loves his grandmama and would do anything for her. Together, they have a mystery of their own to solve. When Ophelia agrees to help Colin solve his mystery, the sparks fly. Colin brings out a side of Ophelia that friends and family have not seen. She becomes strong and adventurous. Ms. McKnight has a way of giving us characters that we care about and a good mystery that we want solved. As I read each word, I was picturing the characters and scenery in my mind. The secondary characters are delightful-grandmamma, Lady Prudence and Lady Chastity. There are more stories to tell about these characters!

'The Misadventures of Lady Ophelia' by Christina McKnight. This is the story of Lady Ophelia Fletcher and Colin Parnell, Lord Hawke. I have not yet read the previous book so for me this was a standalone book. I would say that I wish I had read the other books first, but Ms. McKnight's writing keeps you up to date on what is going on. Ophelia were learn is dealing with the guilt of missing who killed her friend because she was caught up with one of her books. Now she tries to out rouges and help women with a column she writes. Colin is looking to clear his grandfather's name and show he was working as a spy for King George. Colin knows there is a book out there that should help him...and he thinks Ophelia could too. Ophelia does try to help Colin, which leads them to an adventure in solving what actually happened. "My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read."

Christina McKnight has immense talent. The shining beacon of that gift is her ability to create great characters. Characters that stand out above and beyond the words on the page. Heroes and heroines that come alive with their personalities as they lead stories of courage and heart. The Misadventures of Lady Ophelia fits that mold. Ophelia has the distinction of being slightly bookish in personality but never lacking in heart. The death of a friend changed her life. Guilt drove her, but love saved her. That one event set her on a course that lead her to her soulmate and brought her out of her reserved shell and into the risky venture of life. The danger is not only in the mystery that pulls her deeper into the dark, but in the uncertainty that comes with listening to her heart. These Undaunted Debutantes are loyal, fierce and intoxicating. With the series as a whole Ms. McKnight not only conjured up a dynamic and captivating trio, she also spotlighted how beautiful it is to be unique.
