As the title suggests, these are recipes, for everyday cooks, to update classic Jewish recipes, ingredients, and needs for today’s families. Included are not just the same classic Jewish recipes, but instead are new recipes from around the world that are adapted for the Jewish table. The photos are gorgeous and the binding is first class. The layout is striking and well designed. The recipes are sure a big hit around our house. Everyone loves the vegetarian Pho soup, the eggplant gyoza, the cashew chicken, and literally all of the fish dishes we’ve tried. The desserts are wonderful, too; my daughter and I are going to try the popcorn cake this weekend. Delicious, flavorful, and easy to make, this is a wonderful gift for any Jewish family.
