Most Helpful Customer Reviews
Dropped right into the middle of a situation, Lindsey finds herself in trouble from the beginning. In her search for answers she finds Nevan but nothing is easy. This is a fast paced romp with action, adventure, romance and some really bad bad guys. There is a second book but this one doesn't spend a ton of time setting the scene like some first in a series do. Deft handling of characters development and world building makes it easy to follow along and gather information as you go rather than having it all tossed at you at the cost of the flow of the story. Well written, entertaining and adventuresome, there are twists and turns you won't see coming, a strong female lead and a great hero for her. Looking forward to more in this series. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).
The Mortal Falls is part of the Elementals series it's a great paranormal read. The characters and storyline was well written and enjoyable to read. Anna Durand is now one of my favorite authors. A tale of immoral love and magic! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
