About the Author

Sandra Baublitz is a lover of all animals. She has always loved dogs and cats. A Dog Detective series originally began as a contest entry. Paw’s creation was influenced by the Beethoven movies and the author’s desire to own a Saint Bernard. The author never got the opportunity to own a St. Bernard and her current cats will not allow a new edition. Ms. Baublitz expresses her love of the breed by continuing to write about Clarissa and Paw and their mystery adventures. She hopes her readers enjoy reading them as much as she enjoys writing them.

Was a short read and not really worth the expense to buy. Should have had more meat to it.

I haven't had so much trouble reading a short story in a long time. The plot was poorly written from the set-up to the resolution, the characters were unrealistic, most noticeably in how they talked, and none of them, even the dog, acted in a believable manner. I'm glad this story was free, and will not be buying anything else by this author.

Paws, the highly intelligent Saint Bernard gets very involved in helping to solve the mystery of who murdered Clarissa's Uncle. This is such a short, quick, clean read that I am afraid that I will give away the ending--so I will have to leave off here with my review. I will say I definitely enjoyed it and you will probably be seeing more of this series on my blog!

This was a very sweet short story. A good mystery and I in love anything involving animals. Our heroine has a wonderful relationship with her dog. Who is very smart. This story is worth reading.
