Review I am a big fan of D.R. Grady's and this love story solidifies that fandom. It is a charming love story with a hero and heroine you can't help but like. The secondary love story is also very good. The pocket pets, which I won't tell you what they are, are wonderful and add just the right awesomeness to the story. If you are from a large family or have always wanted to be, you will especially enjoy Morrison cast. I would read the other books in the series to more easily keep track of everyone! The large amount of characters can be a bit of a problem to keep track of and there are some aspects of this book that could have been better but overall it is a fun read. The hero and heroines thoughts around cancer and dating while realistic were a bit one note and repetitive. I didn't think there was any good reason for the heroine's adoptive parents to have been described as they were. It added nothing to the plot and didn't seem to have influenced the heroine's character at all. She wasn't in any way a nerd. There are lots of fun surprises here so mostly it is just a pleasurable time in this com munity of family, SEALS, doctors, nerd, pets, and friends.

Idealistic but good. I never would have imagined General Emma being brought to tears. Several times. Must read.
