Meet the Author

Anne-Marie Slaughter is dean of the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University. Carl Bildt is chairman of the Nordic Venture Network. He is the former prime minister of Sweden, the former European Union high representative in Bosnia-Herzegovina, and former UN special envoy to the Balkans. Kazuo Ogura is president of the Japan Foundation, former minister of foreign affairs, and former ambassador of Japan to Vietnam, South Korea, and France.
