Fun, easy and inspiring book. I've read a few green smoothies book and I'm disappointed in most of them. There's too much fluff and you can literally take out the first 50 pages and not miss anything. All I want is a set of recipes that I can use to supplement my daily meals. I also want these recipes to be very simple. I don't want to make a smoothie that requires 7+ ingredients. That's too tedious and it takes the fun out of making your own drink. Buying a lot of ingredients can be costly too! What I love about Hilary's book is she's to the point and her recipes are easy to make. They're super tasty too! I found all the ingredients I need at a nearby Albertson store. Now, I'm having a green smoothie every day and am feeling better than ever. I highly recommend this book for anyone who's looking to add some greens to their daily diets.

This is a nice primer on a very easy way to incorporate greens and vegetables to your daily diet. All it takes is water, greens, fruit, and a blender. Hilary was once overweight and out of shape but someone introduced her to green smoothies and her life changed. Who knew that a glass of green smoothies a day can provide so many benefits for your body. I got so excited that I have one for breakfast and one right after I get home from a long day at work. For beginners, green smoothies is tough to drink at first because of its smell. However, the trick to mask this smell is to add a slice of banana. This simple addition makes green smoothies easier to drink. I wish I knew this when I first started. It would've made the initial process much more enjoyable. Ever since I started drinking green smoothies, I noticed a big difference in my energy and my friends have complimented me on my weight loss. Drinking something foreign like Kale or green leaves can be intimidating but don't let this discourage you. The benefits are well worth it.The New Green Smoothie Diet has my highest recommendation. Hilary definitely knows what she's talking about.

Good intro for someone just getting into green smoothies. A very fast read. Covers all the basics.

Its too poor on recipies less then 20. I regret this purchase.
