About the Author

Cliff Edogun is Nigerian born. After earning a Ph.D. in political science from Rutgers University in 1978, he returned to Nigeria to lecture at Ahmadu Bello University and the University of Port Harcourt. In 1983, while at Port Harcourt, he won the Fulbright scholar award to teach and conduct research on international oil at the Center for African Studies, University of Florida. He returned to Port Harcourt in 1984, published a few seminal research papers on the Nigerian petroleum industry and, in 1992, relocated permanently to the United States. Cliff Edogun is currently an adjunct professor of government at the Cuyahoga community college in Cleveland, OH. The Nigerian Complex is Cliff’s first novel.
