The book will always be a better bet than the movie. Sparks is a master at tear jerking romance and drama. I highly recommend this work to anyone who loves romance. oh, and always have plenty of tissue on hand.

The two main characters are Noah and Allie. It was summer time and Allie was only staying in town with her mom for the summer. Allie and Noah met each other at a carnival. Noah like Allie right away, but Allie wasn’t sure about Noah. He kept asking her to go on a date and finally after awhile she said yes. They ended up dating the whole summer. Allie came home late one night after a date with Noah. It was after 1:00 a.m. in the morning and her parents were waiting for her. Her parents told Allie they did not want her to see Noah again. Allie snuck out to see Noah and they ended up in a big argument and they broke up. The next morning, Allie went out to the kitchen to see her mom. Her Mom told Allie they were leaving town that day. They never got to say goodbye. Noah finds out Allie has left town and he starts to write her a letter every day. 365 letters later, he never got a letter back from Allie because her mother never gave them to her. She kept them all from her. Yes, I would recommend this book to someone because I loved this book so much. The tone of the book is exciting and sad. I thought this book was really good because I really liked the story behind it. It was a really good message on how to keep going after something you love. This book by far was the best book I ever read in my life.
