I love my smutty books/stories, & don't care if they're short, or long (no pun), but I don't like when an author half develops a horrible, mean character without giving us much insight as to what & why they're villainous. In my view, the male is such an emotional abuser. We are given 3 pages to meet his father, & no doubt, the author wanted readers to feel the male is the way he is because of his father. That isn't enough for me to accept Smith's behavior and think it's ok. I felt as if the author hadn't thought through how this story should evolve, and conclude. It was like the author had an idea after waking in the morning, and was halfway through when it was time to start dinner. Then started cooking dinner, came back to writing, got 3/4 of the way done, dinner started burning, but the author wanted to finish the entire story before putting out the fire, and so hurried up and finished the story. Don't waste not only your money, but your time!

I should've listen to all the bad reviews I read, I normally don't go off reviews but this book was the worst I read in a long time... The story line was weak actually there wasn't any. And the hero was kind of a jerk, not a strong alpha man at all, and the heroine was strong and smart in the beginning then became weak and spineless. Not recommended.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review. First let me say that I love Charlotte Byrd and all she writes. But this series the Falling for the CEO is one that just keeps on giving. When you read about these characters you know that they could be right in building somewhere near you doing the exact same things they are. First you have Tristian who is the son of the wealthy head of a company he will soon take the reigns of. But does he even want that for himself. Then you have Annabelle they meet under some odd circumstances and lets just say I don't know if Annabelle will ever be the same. But Tristan can't stop thinking about her either. But he can't just drop being the CEO of this major company. Or can he? Or will he? So what is he to do. She knows nothing about him. What if she finds out who he really is? This book has you fighting for what's right and wanting to at times throw things at people and tell them to wake up already. Can Tristian and Annabelle find love in any shape, form or fashion? Or has Tristian turned into a royal jerk with a chip on his shoulder never to be seen by Annabelle again. It's a great book and series I recommend it to anyone looking for a story that keeps on giving.
