The Official Rules at Home: The Laws That Determine What Can, and Probably Will, Go Awry in Your Daily Life by Paul Dickson

If there is one Official Rule that reigns supreme at home, it's Gumperson's Law:"The probability of anything happening is in inverse ratio to its desireability." It's a universal phenomenon you probably know all too well. From car repair to home improvement, houseplant morbidity to in-law management, Dickson offers a delightful compendium of maxims and bylaws guaranteed to help you make sense of the chaos of home life. This book offers the kind of insight that could save you thousands in therapy. Good Read!
