About the Author

Alice Lesak writes gentle stories featuring animals. They are inspired by her own pets, as well as the wildlife that she encounters on her many walks through the woods near her home. She holds a master's degree in professional writing from the University of Southern California. Now retired, she lives in central Massachusetts.

Stephanie Koller is a self-taught multi-disciplinary artist. Because of her strong connection to nature and animals, many of her pieces reflect this relationship. Her mediums include oils, pastels, watercolor, gauche, encaustic wax, and, most recently, an indoor mural project using acrylic paints. Her artwork has been featured in several exhibitions at The Art Alliance of Central Pennsylvania and the Bellefonte Art Museum.
