About the Author

... is a #1 Amazon bestselling author who came onto the writing scene in 2014. She writes romance, with erotic themes, humour, drama and often suspense and there is always a HEA at the end of a book/series.
Ms. North lives in the rambling lush hills of Yorkshire, United Kingdom with her swoon-worthy husband and two children, 15 and 9. She worked as a Graphic Designer & Illustrator, for over 18 years before she wrote her first book and now combines design and writing in this new path when creating her book covers and teasers.
Writing was always a hobby and took a back seat to University, work, parenthood and unfortunately later, chronic long-term illness. One day she woke and thought 'life's too short - I'm going to finish that blummin book!' She now devotes her time to writing love stories full of humour and naughtiness. When she isn't manically typing away or trying to be the model wife and mum, Alexandra can be found shoe shopping (shoes are her weakness), cosying up with back-to-back TV series and enjoying her very own Sebastian Silver.

•copy provided by author in exchange for an honest review• (3.75 stars) I think this is a really good debut book and that the author will quickly become one of my must reads. The main characters are like able and so are the supporting characters. It starts off going in a different direction which was unique. Lucia and Sebastian meet and even though there's a connection and you assume they'll hook up, she goes home with his friend. Now 10 years later Lucia is dealing with a breakup, running her own business and raising her son. Sebastian owns a very successful construction company and he has been Lucia's best friend since they met. He travels for work often and hasn't been home in almost a year. The night he returns, Lucia sees him in a new light and decides to put her self out there. The reason she does it is believable. She needs to get back in the game and she trusts him. Their interactions with each other after and their concerns are what most might expect. Real and believable is a breath of fresh air, nothing too over the top so it's relatable. I'm very much looking forward to seeing where their story goes.

This is the store of Lucia and Sebastian, or at least the beginning. They are two best friends that decides to have a sexual proposition, but like in any good story it becomes much more complicated than that. There are also many factors, or should I say people, trying their best to keep them apart. The book started slow for me but once it picked up there was no stopping. It took me some getting used to the British English grammar, since I am used to the American. However, it really added to the story, once I got used to it, it allow you to better step into the story. There are many twists and turns that keeps you, both, entertained and intrigued. I can't wait to read the next book on the trilogy.
