Can Melodie put the pain of her past aside to help a worthy cause?
Photographer Melodie Carr moved to New York City to escape and make a fresh start. Her soldier fiancé was killed in a friendly fire incident, and she's been struggling to come to terms with it ever since. When she comes across a call for photographs for a calendar of sexy topless men, with profits going to a charity supporting military families, she's eager to help out, to do something positive. Unfortunately, she doesn't know any suitable men, so she gives up on the idea. That is, until Patrick Brogan—her late fiance's brother—turns up in New York. Seeing him brings up all kinds of memories, but she's determined to push them aside and be welcoming. He's all grown up now, and would be perfect for the calendar. But can she persuade him to take part?

A story of finding love when you least expect it, especially with your dead fiancées little brother. A wonderful quick read, perfect coffee break or lunchtime read.
Bought because the cover was so sexy, read because I really enjoyed the story. I like getting a chance to know the characters, and when these two jumped in together, I had a good feeling about them. I like the 'forever' kind of stories.
The Other Brother by Lucy Felthouse This is the Mr. June story in the Calendar Men series. Looks like I may have to get the rest of the stories after reading this one. Yummy! Melodie has had a rough past couple of years due to loosing her fiancé in the war. She has moved away from her family and friends so she really doesn’t have anyone to lean on. Then one day out of the blue she gets a surprise visitor. Patrick is the brother of her fiancé that she hasn’t seen since the funeral. What she didn’t expect was the hunk of meat standing in her doorway while she looked like what a cat would drag in. She feels bad that she finds him so attractive so she does everything she can to try to push him away. Do you think she will actually be successful or will she succumb to his piercing green eyes? I received this book as a gift from the author.
55 pages.....no sex scene until about page 40 and it was even a good scene. Not well written.
