About the Author

Curtis George Schmitt was born and raised on Long Island, New York. He began writing fiction in junior high school, publishing some of his poems and stories in his high school's literary magazine. He also took an early interest in film and music, directing a short film in high school and playing guitar in heavy metal and rock bands in college.

In addition to completing the stories in this collection, he's written and recorded a dozen original songs, and produced and directed a handful of short films, including the award-winning short, What Remains.

Since 2004, he's coached busy professionals, small business entrepreneurs, and writers/filmmakers in the practice of Peaceful Productivity through his coaching business, Turn On to Life!

His favorite writers include Philip K. Dick, Robert Anton Wilson, and Eckhart Tolle. His favorite filmmakers include Stanley Kubrick, Michael Mann, and David Lynch.
