About the Author

Sylvia McDaniel is a best-selling, award-winning author of western historical romance and contemporary romance novels. Known for her sweet, funny, family-oriented romances, Sylvia is the author of The Burnett Brides a historical western series, The Cuvier Widows, a Louisiana historical series, Lipstick and Lead, a western historical series and several short contemporary romances.

Married for nearly twenty years to her best friend, they have one dachshund that reigns Queen Supreme over the house and a good-looking, grown son who thinks there’s no place like home. She loves gardening, hiking, shopping, knitting and football (Cowboys and Bronco’s fan), but not necessarily in that order.

I love books like these! I have always been drawn to books where the setting is in the old days! The characters in this series are amazing and the stories are very well written. I highly recommend this series and any other book by Sylvia McDaniel!

This "part 2" kept me just as interested as the first. It's funny to see each (stubborn) brother being taken down by love!!!

I really enjoyed this book, my first read by this author. The technical part of punctuation and order had problems at times. Two separate people were talking in the same paragraph. Shouldn't happen. Whoever does the proof reading should work a bit harder. Also there was a bit of repetition throughout, but all in all I really enjoyed this sweet love story.

I am reading reviews to determine if I will proceed to read this book. Please can anyone explain what these reviews have to do with the book?

Did anyone notice that Tanner's eye color was blue at the beginning of the book and changed to brown ay the end of book?

I enjoyed this book as much as the first in this series.  And again the only fault I found was the  repetition.  He characters were constantly repeating themselves.  But it isn't enough to keep me from reading the last book.
