Sleuth best friends Cassie and Enilsa take to an island in this mystery adventure. The girls have great fun on their summer break but are also perpetually on the lookout for a chance to solve a mystery. Along with two island friends, and two of Enilsa's cousins, they follow clues that lead them on a treasure hunt that ends up having unexpected results. If you are looking for good, clean summer fun, you can't go wrong with this book, recommended for age 7-13.

Young detectives Cassie and Enilsa are having fun on an island when they hear stories about pirate treasure. Enilsa's grandfather had taken up the hobby of painting before he passed away and one of his paintings might hold a clue to finding a treasure on Swan Cove Island. With red herrings and more than one trick ending, this book is sure to please summer readers, particularly girls ages 7-13. As a much more grown up girl, I even enjoyed reading this mystery adventure.
