Real Estate Agent Helen Wright is done with love. Left at the altar then stood up by a blind date, her only 'significant other' is her fat orange tabby, Charlie. When her wealthiest client fires her then bad mouths her all over the city, Helen's professional life turns just as pathetic as her love life. In need of a vacation, she packs her bags and heads off to Bora Bora to attend her best friend's wedding.
Cheated on by his ex-fiancé, Veterinarian Rick Stark needs only three things: a new practice, a new city, and a new place to live. Tired of sleeping on a friend's couch, he jumps at the chance to apply for the perfect job on the beautiful islands of Bora Bora.
Both alone, Rick and Helen find themselves oddly determined to help each other have fun and crazy vacations.
Could they have been wrong about finding love again? And if so, what will happen when her old flame pops back into the picture wanting to rekindle the engagement he once ended?

I'm always up for a new read from a new-to-me author and when we got presented the chance to review this chick lit romance with some humor I jumped at the chance. Going through so many ups and downs with Helen I was really worried that she wouldn't get her happily ever after, but dang did she get to enjoy a heck of a vacation. (Mostly) I liked Helen, but I was overly excited about her but I did feel horrible for her because she was dealt a pretty bad hand. And I have to say if my husband made me pay for my entire freaking wedding you better believe he would've paid with his manhood if he left me at the alter! That is why I guess I wasn't too fond of Helen because I felt like so many people were just rolling all over her and it annoyed the crap out of me. I do love Lisa and the way that she took care of Helen, she was an awesome lady and I would love to read about her and Ben's story! Rick.....swoon... Now that is a man who can satisfy a woman! I loved Rick from beginning to end and that ending! So much swooning!!! I loved that it was intense at moments, fun and I really enjoyed the experience they had because the writing was so detailed that I went on vacation during my moments when I could read. I thank you so much for thinking of us to review because I loved this book from beginning to end!
