About the Author

Christine James lives in southern Missouri, and is about as country as a girl can get. She is a lover of almost all animals.
When she's not writing or reading, she makes specialty cakes. Writing has been a passion of hers since she was eleven years old, and it has only grown since. She is a firm believer in laughter. If everyone would just laugh a little more and complain just a little less, then maybe-just maybe-the world would be a brighter place.
She has two amazing sons and a fabulous husband that are her biggest fans and supporters. In 2014 her youngest son was diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). Since then she's become an advocate for Autism research. She is working with her publishing house to help bring awareness to the world about autism.
God, family, and friends are the most important things in the world to her! If you have those three, well, you're blessed!

This book was a rollercoaster ride of emotions. It starts off a little slow, however, I feel that it was necessary to build the story of these characters. HANG IN THERE... YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY. It had moments that made me giggle and other times it made me yell in frustration. Some of the moments even made my inner teenage girl heart flutter. There were also moments that made me tear up and make my heart hurt. Overall, it was an amazing read. It really touches on some serious issues that teenagers and some adults face today. Yes, there are some parts that might make you uncomfortable to read. Some of the topics are sensitive but trust me, it's completely worth it. Christine James has created characters that make you fall for them. They are written in such a way that you can easily relate to them. The ending has a twist that you will not see coming.
