The Persecution and Assassination of Jean-Paul Marat as Performed by the Inmates of the Asylum of Charenton under the Direction of the Marquis de Sade based on 0 ratings. 2 reviews.
We did this play for our fall play. I play Coulmier and I was thrilled to be part of such an intellectual play. The actors all agreed that this play is hard to understand to the naked eye, but If you look past all the words on the page and think past all the seemingly difficult parts, you are then left with pure gold.
Even if you don't know who the Marquis De Sade is, this is a book to be charished for generations. It will disgust and intrigue you with every word you read. Wonderful, spectacular, a book that should be read to better understand human nature and the hardships of life.
