About the Author

Anna Albergucci lived the first part of her life in Tennessee, and then moved to Oklahoma where she met and married her high school sweetheart. They've since made a life together in West Texas, and that romance shaped a happy home that has gone from a family of two to a family of eleven and growing, plus three dogs.

Even as a child, Anna had a strong imagination, indulging her mother, and anyone who would listen, with the telling of her obscure dreams from the night before. These days, she puts her dreams to paper, weaving them into well thought out stories with deeply passionate characters; characters that live lives the rest of us only dream about.

Anna loves mornings, coffee, and sitting on the porch appreciating her life. She's a sucker for hosting parties, especially historical costume parties. And in her spare time, you can find her touring old mansions - preferably not haunted ones - shopping for antiques, or curled up reading her favorite romances, paranormals, and thrillers, whether historical or contemporary.

Devon was a Phoenix and had to be careful in someone he chooses to marry as it must be a passionate love. He knows you can be hurt by that and wants nothing to do with love. He is gathering some of his things to auction off for charity, and comes across a diary. The first Duke of Seton had written it. Devon was started on his training for becoming a duke at the age of three. As one day he would be duke and all that went with it. The first duke- Sedivic- fell in love with a servant girl Adelynn and married her which wasn’t done in his time but he loved her with all he was. Adelynn was kidnapped Sedivic went to a man who was a known to be crazy but in fact the man did put magic into a mirror and Sedivic was able to find and free her. Devon finishes the diary and wonders about who his true love may be.He gazes into the mirror and finds her name to be Elysian/Elz but she is in the future in the 21st century. I don’t particularly like time travel stories but this was pretty good. I did like the plot of the story for the most part and the characters just not the time travel. I received an ARC of this story for an honest review.
