Devon loves Elz. Elz loves Devon. But neither know this, plus being two centuries apart in time doesn't help the situation. I love time travel romance and this book is incredible!

Great story, but it isn't complete. I don't know how many more books you need to buy to finish the story.

Fantastically written! Such attention to detail. I love the time travel in this story. Once I picked up this book to read I could not stop reading till the end. Definitely need to get the rest of the series. This is a new author to me. I'm very impressed!

Time travel books normally throw me off and I find myself uninterested but I did like this one. This is a series book so keep that it mind. Not only is there time traveling but there are multiple couples and also the story of Devon and Elz. What if you could only be with your one true love? Not so bad of a concept but what if your one true love was in a completely different time period than you were? It takes Devon years to try to figure out what is going one only to find out that Elz has feelings back for him without even knowing who he truly was and knowing that technically he has already lived and died. This is time travel combined with romance (historical and modern) and magic. This is a trifecta of concepts and it is interesting how it is all brought together.

I was blown away! This was a spectacular read for me. I enjoyed every nail biting moment! It's written with such detail that you don't have a hard time watching(mentally) how the story unfolds. I can't wait to get my hands on the rest of the series to find out how the remainder of their story progresses. This is a must read and must have!!

Intriguing premise and paranormal circumstances which makes this romance stand out from the rest. The author's writing is witty and she seamlessly makes natural and desirous connections between the characters which the reader can feel- well done! The romance and various character points of view are a nice touch and keeps you interested. Thank God for Kyle and Pris, because talk about longing- towards the end of the book I'm wondering if Devon and Elz are ever going to meet up!! Don't despair though, because once they do...fire ignited! Wow. The heat from these two was the strength of an inferno. The passion and connection they share is palpable, and I'm dying for more! Love that their friends are developed characters, and finding love as well, but hate that there's a sequel I have to wait for! *I received an arc from NetGalley for an honest review

There were parts I felt could be condensed & were a little too explanatory for my tastes, but was a nice, easy read. I actually found myself wanting more of some of the supporting characters, but that may be due to my bias for historical romances. It's strengths make up for/leave you overlooking the weaknesses. I'm looking forward to seeing how my favorite characters fare in the next book.
